In the meantime, if you’re a reader who loves romance, you’ve come to the right place. My motto is: You can’t expect any sizzle if you don’t turn up the heat!

It doesn’t get any hotter than my erotic novella, TOO HOT TO HANDLE. What goes better in the fall than hot chocolate, a roaring fireplace, and a sexy cowboy? I can’t supply the fireplace, but I can definitely provide the chocolate and the cowboy. I’m offering one lucky winner a FREE eBook of TOO HOT TO HANDLE and a $20 Starbucks card (so you can get your own hot chocolate and do whatever you want with it)!

In TOO HOT TO HANDLE, my hero, Mason Kincade is tall, dark, handsome – and rich. He’s also coarse, ill-mannered and set in his ways. Having spent most of his life on his family’s sprawling ranch near Houston, Texas, Mason has neither the need nor the desire to interact with the wealthy upper crust. The problem is his new fiancée is a wealthy Chicago socialite, the epitome of class and elegance. Determined to refine Mason, she hires noted image consultant, Jewell Davenport to work a miracle in time for their wedding ceremony, which has been touted as the social event of the season.

Jewell Davenport is the image consultant to the stars. Her sense of style and breeding has helped her single-handedly transform even the worst ugly ducklings into beautiful swans. When the daughter of a wealthy hotel magnate hires Jewell to transform Mason into a respectable gentleman, Jewell accepts without a second thought. But one look at the rugged cowboy and she knows she’s got her work cut out for her. She wonders if this will be just another extreme makeover or will Mason be too hot to handle?

I’ve had a fascination with cowboys since I can remember. It didn’t matter if they were mythical western icons like Wyatt Earp, country cowboys like George Strait and Tim McGraw, or cowboy actors, like Blair Underwood in the movie, Posse. Yummy is the only word that comes to mind. There’s just something about a rough and rugged cowboy that melts my panties. I’m looking for people who share my passion for these alpha men.

You can be entered to win a FREE ebook of TOO HOT TO HANDLE and a $20 Starbucks card by leaving your comment to the following question:

That’s it. That’s all ya gotta do. I’ll choose one reader at random by Wednesday, September 24!

For more books by me, look me up on Amazon, Smashwords, or Barnes & Noble. Until then – happy blog hopping!

My favorite cowboy would be John Wayne. He was a rugged, alpha man and I would spend an evening of dinner in front of a fireplace, then a moonlight ride.

Laurel, that sounds so romantic. I’m assuming your moonlight ride would be on a horse. Not in a car. LOL.

it doesn’t matter what kinda hot cowboy he is as long as he treats me right!

I’m with you on that one, Paris Fan. No man is sexy is if he doesn’t treat me right.

George Strait, for me is the ultimate, solid, real life cowboy. My husband always says George is the one that I would leave him for *L*

Yep, George is the strong silent type I like. I loved him in Pure Country. It’s one of my favorites. A beautiful romance that transcends time.

I have always loved westerns, and my two favorite would be John Wayne and Clint Eastwood, they were mens men who took no shit from man or woman.

    • chantarandblog September 20, 2014 at 8:23 pm #

Kathy, you can’t go wrong with Clint or John Wayne. They each had their own style, but they “got ‘er done” and took care of business. Why doesn’t anybody make westerns like these anymore?

  8. Yolanda Renee September 20, 2014 at 4:32 pm #

Clint Eastwood, have always had a crush on him!

    • chantarandblog September 20, 2014 at 8:25 pm #

Yolanda, you’re not only one crushin’ on Clint. LOL! We all like that Pale Rider.

  9. kvonae September 20, 2014 at 8:20 pm #

I would pick Raylan Givens on Justified because there would never be a dull moment.

    • chantarandblog September 20, 2014 at 8:22 pm #

Ok, I second that. And he’s mighty pleasing’ on the eyes too! Thanks for reminding us about Justified. I love that show. There’s always something wild going on.

Brandi, I forgot all about Brad in Legends of the Fall. And frankly, that’s just not fair to put Brad in the cowboy category. LOL! He looks good in any role! But yes, you are right: He was totally alpha in there until he met his wife. She brought out his softer side. Then, he had to get crunk again when those fools killed her. Great movie and great example of a sexy cowboy.

I’ll take any of the McKays from Lorelei James’ Rough Riders series!

    Thanks for the amazing giveaway!
